In the year 2135, undesirable and depressed citizens of Alpha City are encouraged to "request" to end their own lives. Gokuun, a popular teen at the local arcade, is content to keep living his happy-go-lucky lifestyle until Jason, a sickly and socially awkward friend, puts in a request. Increasingly bothered by his conscience, Gokuun must put everything on the line including his closest relationships if he takes a stand against the requesting program.

 

With time running out to convince Jason life is worth living, the teens who've claimed their turf at the arcade must skillfully navigate bizarre perils to find meaning and connection in this dehumanizing and alienating world.

 

An inspired mix of “Logan’s Run,” “Blade Runner,” and “American Graffiti,” from the creative teams behind "The Curse and the Covenant" and "VR," this cyberpunk drama is looking to have its premiere within the year.
